At Pouchcraft Solutions, we believe in complete transparency regarding website hosting, maintenance, and ownership. This policy explains what is included with your website package and what to expect after delivery.

Domain Registration & Charges

Domain charges are not included in any website package and are not paid by Pouchcraft Solutions.

• The client is responsible for purchasing their own domain name, either directly through a registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger) or by paying Pouchcraft Solutions to purchase it on their behalf.
• If Pouchcraft Solutions registers the domain on the client’s behalf, the cost is billed to the client at the time of registration — it is not covered under the free hosting offer.
• Ongoing domain renewal fees (typically annual) are the client’s responsibility for as long as they wish to keep the domain active, regardless of the hosting plan or billing cycle.
• Free hosting for 12 months applies only to server/hosting costs and does not extend to or subsidize domain registration or renewal charges.

Free Hosting

Every eligible website package includes:

• Free website hosting for 12 months
• SSL Certificate
• WordPress installation
• Elementor setup
• Regular uptime monitoring
• Basic server maintenance

The complimentary hosting period starts from the date your website is successfully delivered.

Hosting Provider Access

To maintain server security and stability:

• Clients will not receive the hosting provider login credentials.
• Access to the hosting account, cPanel, or server dashboard is not included.

Instead, clients receive:

• WordPress Administrator Login
• Full access to pages
• Posts
• Media Library
• Forms
• Menus
• Basic website content

This allows clients to manage their website without risking accidental server configuration changes.

Website Ownership

After full payment has been received:

The client becomes the owner of:

• Website content
• Images provided by the client
• Blog posts
• Products
• Pages
• Business information

Pouchcraft Solutions retains ownership of:

• Internal development workflow
• Premium assets purchased under agency licenses
• Custom reusable development tools
• Proprietary code libraries (if applicable)

Website Maintenance

During the complimentary hosting period we provide:

• WordPress updates
• Elementor updates
• Security monitoring
• Basic troubleshooting
• Website uptime monitoring

Maintenance does not include:

• New features
• Website redesign
• New pages
• Content writing
• Product uploads
• SEO campaigns
• Third-party software issues

These services can be requested separately.

Backups

Regular website backups are maintained to protect against accidental data loss.

Backup restoration requests caused by:

• accidental deletion
• plugin conflicts created by the client
• malware introduced through third-party plugins

may incur a service fee depending on the situation.

Domain Registration

If Pouchcraft Solutions registers the domain on behalf of the client:

• the domain remains associated with the client’s project,
• renewal fees are the client’s responsibility after the first billing period (if applicable).

After the First Year

When the complimentary hosting period ends, clients may:

• Renew hosting with Pouchcraft Solutions.
• Migrate their website to another hosting provider (migration service may be chargeable).
• Request website backup files if permitted under the project agreement.

Server Security

To maintain a secure hosting environment:

• server credentials remain confidential,
• server-level configuration changes are handled only by Pouchcraft Solutions,
• unauthorized access requests cannot be granted.
